The School of Sciences of Physical and Natural Mathematical Sciences of the University of Rome Tor Vergata, is organized in four Departments: Biology | Physics | Mathematics | Chemical Sciences and Technologies; has been for years in the highest areas of the national rankings for teaching and scientific research that is carried out there. A scientific activity carried out by teachers who are often also internationally renowned scientists with positions of great responsibility in scientific organizations.
In addition, in the areas close to the University there are some of the major Italian Scientific Research Centers in which hundreds of researchers work and dozens and dozens of laboratories with high-tech instruments and computer centers are in activity. Thanks to conventions and research projects, it is easy for young people studying in this Macroarea to carry out internships in study centers and in major companies in Italy and abroad and, through the Erasmus Programme, carry out study abroad experiences for periods ranging from 3 to 12 months.
